Monachyle Mhor Review

Set on 2,000 acres of forests and moorland, this beautifully converted farmhouse sits in splendid isolation against a backdrop of mountains and views over Lochs Voil and Doine. Rooms are striking and unique, with clean lines and touches of modern luxury, like plush animal-print throws and elegant toiletries. Known for its food, the hotel kitchen uses many homegrown ingredients, and everything is expertly prepared. There's a prix-fixe menu (£47 for five courses), and if the weather is favorable you can eat on the patio.
