Drummond Castle Garden

Drummond Castle Garden Review

This large, formal Victorian parterre celebrates family and Scottish heraldry. The flower beds are planted and trimmed in the shapes of various heraldic symbols, such as a lion rampant and a checkerboard, associated with the coat of arms of the family that owns the castle and with the Scottish Royal Coat of Arms. It's regarded as one of the finest of its kind in Europe, and it even made an appearance in the film Rob Roy.
