Dryburgh Abbey Hotel Review
Mature woodlands and verdant lawns surround this imposing, 19th-century mansion, which is adjacent to the abbey ruins on a sweeping bend of the River Tweed. Throughout the hotel you'll feel a sense of peace and quiet in keeping with the location. The rooms are large and sumptuous, with canopy beds and lace-trimmed curtains. The restaurant specializes in Scottish fare; a four-course meal is a bargain at £35.
