Moyness House

Fodor's Review:

Scottish author Neil M. Gunn (1891-1973), known for short stories and novels that evoke images of the Highlands, such as Morning Tide, Highland River, and Butcher's Broom, once lived in this lovely Victorian villa. Just past the well-trimmed hedges is a quiet residential street a few minutes' walk from downtown Inverness. Careful decorative touches grace each colorful room. The friendly owners provide excellent service and sound sightseeing advice.
