Mussel Inn Review

West coast shellfish farmers own this restaurant and feed their customers incredibly succulent oysters, scallops, and mussels. The kilo pots of mussels, beautifully steamed to order and served with any of a number of sauces, are revelatory. The surroundings are simple but stylish, with cool ceramic tiles, wood floors, and plenty of sleek wooden furniture. Another plus is the staff, which is helpful yet unpretentious. This is the type of place locals take their favorite out-of-towners.

Highly recommended - if you like good seafood.

We had a wonderful dinner here a few weeks ago. The food was excellent and really quite imaginative for the price we paid. 4 starters, mains 2 bottles house wine and 2 glasses of house bubbly cost us under £100.
The service was friendly and efficient.
Make sure you book at weekends though.
