Fratelli Sarti Review

Glasgow's large Italian population is never more visible—or audible—than here. The cavernous surroundings are cluttered and the tables are pressed close together, so this is not really the place for an intimate dinner, but the food is authentic, with Tuscan and Ligurian specialties as well as other classic dishes on an extensive menu. If you like seafood, try the wonderfully fresh and piquant pasta vongole (with small clams). Finish off with the light, creamy tiramisu. Note that the service can be a bit leisurely.

    Great Food, Informal Atmosphere

We ate here our first night in Glasgow, still somewhat jet-lagged, but the food was great and picked us right up. The surroundings are not terribly formal, almost more of a lunch room, but the grilled chicken and boar and tagliatelle with chicken and peppers were first-rate, and reasonably priced, given the exchange rate.
