Fodor's Review

A converted Victorian church decorated by Glasgow artist Daniel Cottier is the unusual setting for this bar and restaurant. The restaurant has a small but interesting menu, including duck egg with mushrooms and truffle potato cream as a starter, and a main of turbot with calamari and prawns. Red walls and beamed ceilings warm up the cavernous downstairs bar, where the down-to-earth menu features chorizo and black pudding stew and, of course, fish-and-chips. The pretheater menu is £15 or £18.50 for two or three courses, respectively.
