Fodor's Review

Inside what was once the mansion of tobacco merchant George Buchanan, the Corinthian Club includes a restaurant, two bars, a nightclub, and a casino. In the ostentatiously elegant main restaurant, the Brasserie, you can dine, take afternoon tea, or sip a cocktail under a 26-foot-high glass dome as classical statues stare in your direction. The menu offers a good selection of seafood and steaks, and a market menu changes daily. Food is served here until 1 am Sunday to Thursday and until 3 am Friday and Saturday. The basement, once a criminal court, now houses a casino, to which you gain access, appropriately enough, through a Prohibition-era bar.
