Fodor's Review

This modest but comfortable six-story hotel sits at the heart of Glasgow's nightlife. It's in a prime location in the center of the Merchant City in an area mostly closed to cars. The guest rooms are done in a mostly minimalist style, but squared-off wall fixtures and occasional splashes of color make bold statements. Free Wi-Fi is among the thoughtful extras. The downstairs restaurant, called Brutti ma Buoni (meaning "ugly but good" in Italian), has an eclectic menu, a compact but complete wine list, and a selection of draft lagers.
