The lavish Victorian interior of this 1848 town house includes canopy beds and miles of colorful, patterned fabrics. As you enter, you will be greeted by the friendly Thiebauds, your hosts. The house is a warm retreat on a tree-lined street away from but within reach of city-center bustle via a 10-minute bus ride. The hearty egg-and-sausage breakfasts are a pleasure. Note that six of the rooms have showers, but no bathtubs.
