Inside this detached Georgian house are small, cozy rooms decorated with antique reproductions. Breakfast is served in a large, glass-enclosed conservatory. The staff that runs the hotel is very welcoming and more than willing to advise you on what to see and do in and around Edinburgh.

We booked this place with slight hesitation after having read one of the other reviews... We were to be pleasantly surprised by the helpfulness of the staff, our room and the breakfast. Value for money, this was the best we had during our 3 weeks in the UK. The room was very clean and comfortable, FREE WiFi internet was available (signal was best in the reception area which had a nice atmosphere). We had a hired car and it was great to have free parking available - and it was a safe gated entrance to the car park. Breakfast had good variety and was in a lovely setting overlooking the garden. Our son studies in Edinburgh and we have already booked here for our next visit - We would highly recommend it based on the location, staff, comfort, cleanliness and price!
