The Kew's rooms and apartments are as sumptuous as a guesthouse can be without being classified a full-service hotel. Inside the elegant 1860 terraced house are unfussy rooms with light-wood modern furniture and conveniences like hair dryers, coffeemakers, and pants presses. Welcome luxuries include fresh flowers, chocolates, shortbread, and a decanter of sherry on arrival. There is also a bar for guests only. It's a 15-minute stroll to the center of town.
