Fodor's Review:

Close to Drummond Place, this hotel is in a classic New Town building, elegant and superbly proportioned. Antique furniture and original art throughout make the Howard more like a swank private club than a hotel, and you can expect the most up-to-date facilities, including butlers and Web-equipped TVs. Some of the best rooms overlook the garden.
