This attractive, laid-back bistro, just a few minutes' walk from Haymarket Station, is a favorite with locals. Hardwood floors, stone walls, soft blue hues, and seaside paintings add to the coastal theme. Savory temptations include pumpkin stew and raisin couscous, pan-fried seabass with fennel, mustard, and ginger, and Aberdeen Angus sirloin steak with tomato-and-red-onion salad. The international wine list is as varied as the daily specials.

Having had two entirely different experiences at this restaurant I'm now slightly less eulogistic about this place than I might have been after my initial visit. The first time I went I was with a large group on a summertime Friday night when the restaurant was full. The food was delicious, the staff coped admirably and it had the feel of a buzzy, busy restaurant with a dedicated team behind it.
My second visit was with a small group on a cold, mid-week winter evening. The food was disappointing and had the feel of having been cobbled together with what was left in the kitchen, the staff had a couldn't-care-less attitude and the place had a cold, empty feel. The people I had taken along seemed unlikely to recommend it or return.
On balance I would say that the best thing to do is try it for yourself - hopefully you will have the former experience rather than the latter and what we experienced was just a restaurant with a case of winter blues.
