Fodor's Review:

An exquisite Victorian-tile floor is one of many original features at this gem of a guesthouse tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. A cast-iron staircase leads to simple but spacious rooms; some are decorated in dark blues and reds, others in creams and terra-cotta floral prints. The walk into town is 10 minutes (uphill), and the owner is helpful with information on sights in and around Edinburgh.
