Fodor's Review:

This is a genuine Italian experience, albeit in Scotland. The food tastes great, the place is noisy and fun, the chatty waiters are full of energy, and the hosts are always willing to squeeze you in, no matter how crowded the place may be. If you want to dine in peace and quiet, avoid early evening when the office crowd warms up for a night on the town. Specialties include ample calzone and seafood linguine.

Cool, chic, clubby and great tasting...

Our whole crew (an airline crew) decided to go. We made reservations and were wonderfully surprised. Every one of us was pleased--no small feat. The place was packed and lively. The waiters were very helpful and the food was terrific. Huge menu,large portions, great tasting. For a moment I was in Little Italy. This is sure to be a favorite place and has already been discovered. A wide variety of people are here, clubby kids, cool urban types, a few tourists, parties. This is a great value for your money and a definite place we return to.

We booked a table for 12 - not an easy thing to do at some places. They verified our booking and gave us a lovely welcome. Food, service and wine was all we could ask for. WE've already booked for next year.

Italian Stallions Fanatical about food, fanatical about football!

We ate on the night Italy were playing in the semi finals of the world cup. Bad move some would say but even though the waiters eyes were focused mainly on the football, they were still very attentive. I had lasagne which was one of the nicest I had ever had and went lovely with the bottle of red recommended to us by the waiter. The place had a lovley italian feel and was very friendly. I wasnt there when italy eventually scored but im sure the place would have went wild!

Great Fun and Food !!

During our tour we ate on our own here two nights and enjoyed the food and ambiance tremendously. Most fun we had in Edinburgh with our clothes on. Waiters are fun and helpful.
