Fodor's Review

Mother India Cafe. Despite its popularity, good Indian food is hard to find in Scotland. Not so at this humble eatery, where the emphasis is on home-style cooking. A good selection of small dishes means you can sample the myriad flavors. The lamb karahi (a Pakistani curry made in a woklike pot) is particularly recommended, as are any of the fish dishes. The split-level dining area is smart and contemporary. 3–5 Infirmary St.,
