Parliament House

Parliament House Review

This was the seat of Scottish government until 1707, when the governments of Scotland and England were united, 104 years after the union of the two crowns. Partially hidden by the bulk of the High Kirk of St. Giles, it now houses the Supreme Law Courts of Scotland. Interesting exhibits are displayed under the hammer-beam roof of cavernous Parliament Hall.
