Facing Inverness Castle, Riva has views over the River Ness from its window seats. The dining room has subtly lighted deep-red walls lined with black-and-white photographs of Italian cityscapes. Tasty Italian dishes include pasta carbonara (with eggs, cream, and pancetta), as well as more unusual concoctions like tagliatelle with smoked salmon and a tomato cream sauce. There is a separate pizzeria upstairs from the main dining room.
