Findhorn Ecovillage Review

About 6 mi from Forres, the Findhorn Ecovillage is an education center dedicated to developing "new ways of living infused with spiritual values." Drawing power from their own wind turbines, village inhabitants farm and garden to sustain themselves. A £5 tour—check in at visitor reception for information—affords a thought-provoking glimpse into the lives of the ultra-independent villagers. See homes made out of whisky barrels, and the Universal Hall, made of wood and beautiful engraved glass. The Phoenix Shop sells organic foodstuffs and handmade crafts, and the Blue Angel Café serves organic and vegetarian fare.

    Findhorn Foundation ecovillage Review

    Findhorn Foundation is lovely - but avoid the Kimberly IOnn in Findhorn at all costs - the staff were rude and bullying and really spoiled our trip.
