About 4 mi northwest of Boat of Garten, Landmark Forest Theme Park has entertainments such as a Timber Trail with a fire tower you can climb, a steam-powered sawmill, and a Clydesdale horse that hauls the logs. At the forestry workshop, you can try out the crosscut saw. Kids will want to check out the forest maze, terrifyingly steep waterslides, a climbing wall, miniature cars and trucks, and an adventure playground. Plan on spending about three to five hours here. To get to Carrbridge, take the quiet B9153, rather than the crowded A9.
