Fodor's Review

If you're in search of the infamous monster, the Loch Ness Centre & Exhibition documents the fuzzy photographs, the unexplained sonar readings, and the sincere testimony of eyewitnesses. It's said that the loch's huge volume of water has a warming effect on the local weather, making the loch conducive to mirages in still, warm conditions—but you'll have to make up your own mind. Whether the bestia aquatilis lurks in the depths is more than ever in doubt since

1994, when the man who took one of the most convincing photos of Nessie confessed on his deathbed that it was a fake. From late spring to early fall you can also take hourly cruises of the loch.

Great Facilties

When we visited Loch Ness 2000 we had a really great time. We had lunch at the Loch Ness Cafe and then went to the wonderful Loch Ness 2000 Exhibition. We had our very good Spanish ffiends with us and they were able to go ahead of us and liten in Spanigh as we waited for only 5 minutes and then went through with a group in English. It was very interesting and fun for both oursleves and the children. After the exhibiton we visited all the shops

and bought a few souveniers and the lady in the Whisky shop informed our Spanish friend that there were over 1000 different whiskies in the shop, much to his excitement. I would recommedn a stop at this high quality value for money centre to anyone. It was esepcially great for our foreign friends to learn about something that is so famous from Scotland.

Extremely Interesting

The Exhibition itself is simply fantastic. Myslef and my wife and two kids (7 and 11) all really enjoyed the experience. Lots of mfun but also lots of really amazing facts and figures. The whole Centre is of an extremely high quality and we would sincerely recommend Loch Ness 2000 to anyone. Make sure you dont miss out and go and see this great place.
