Fodor's Review

One relic of the Isle of Gigha's aristocratic legacy is the Achamore House Garden, which produce lush shrubberies with spectacular azalea displays in late spring. For a nimble day trip, take the 20-minute ferry to Gigha from Tayinloan and walk right over to the gardens. The gardens are managed by the Gigha Community Trust.
