Silver Darling

Oysters from the set menu starters at Silver Darling March 2013

Silver Darling Review

Huge windows overlook the harbor and beach at this quayside favorite in a former customs house, long one of Aberdeen's most acclaimed restaurants. As the name implies, the French-inspired fare focuses on fish: a silver darling is a herring. Try the langoustine ravioli with hazelnut velouté for a starter, then move on to wild halibut steamed in seaweed, or seabass with crushed ginger potatoes.
