Braemar

Synonymous with the British monarchy, due to its closeness to Balmoral, and with the famous Highland games, this village is popular year round as a base for walkers and climbers enjoying the Grampian Mountains. There isn't really much else going on in Braemar, although the castle is well worth a couple of hours.
