In contrast to the miniscule size of the place—there are only six tables—the food arrives in enormous amounts in this congenial and hugely popular Georgian café. It's tucked away in a back street, a stone's throw from the Peter and Paul Fortress and the city Zoo. The place immediately wins you over with its lively atmosphere and cordial service, and when you try their gorgeous juicy Georgian kebabs, spicy satsivi (chicken in thick nut sauce), rich khachapuri, hot lobio, and other Caucasian delights, you'll just melt. It gets addictive quickly. The prices are most appealing: the entrées are all less than $10.
