Sovietsky Historical Review

Plunge into Soviet-era grandeur at this historic hotel, which upgraded its facilities a few years ago but still has its nostalgic atmosphere. The hotel's public areas, with massive marble columns, comfortable sofas, and grand chandeliers, are extremely well looked-after; guests receive a warm welcome with a glass of champagne when checking in. There is a gentlemen's club in the basement of the hotel where working girls can be met, but the hotel security staff keeps them away from the guests.
