Fodor's Review:
Once you step inside past the renovated turn-of-the-20th-century art nouveau facade, you'll likely feel very much at home -- if home is the United States. You'll even find eggs Benedict on the breakfast buffet. Marriott opened its nine-story hotel amid the bustle of Tverskaya ulitsa in 1997, just in time to celebrate Moscow's 850th anniversary. The Western-style rooms are spacious, and some overlook a peaceful courtyard. A round central staircase ascends from the lobby's sunny atrium. Service is pleasant. Red Square is 1 km ( 1/2 mi) away.
