Swissôtel Krasnye Holmy

Swissôtel Krasnye Holmy Review

Rising 34 stories above the city, this sleek glass and metal cylinder is the tallest member of Moscow's family of luxury hotels, as well as a conspicuous addition to a skyline dominated by Stalin's seven towers. In the heart of a booming business district not far from Paveletsky train station and next to Moscow House of Music, the hotel opened in summer 2005. Guest rooms are among the largest in the city and include espresso coffee machines and electronic safes. Bathrooms are large and modern, with small tiles, glass and chrome, and a heated floor. Swissôtel's greatest attraction: a bar inside an inverted glass bowl on the 34th floor. Pros: stunning view of Moscow from top-floor City Space bar; caviar and champagne for breakfast. Con: overpriced breakfast.
