This lovely church dates from the late 18th century and is in need of a restoration, but it remains a working church. Farther down the street, at No. 29, is another building of historic importance: the apartment house where the theater director Stanislavsky was born in 1863. After exiting Taganskaya station, you need to cross the square. On the other side of the square will be two roads leading away from the square. Take the one on the left and you will reach St. Martin.
