In a former palace, this museum is one of several institutions (the main one in the Lisbon suburb of Belém) that showcase the eclectic taste of Madeiran-born magnate Joe Berardo. The modern art collection, parts of which are often on show here, includes works by Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Roy Lichtenstein, and Francis Bacon.
