Fodor's Expert Review Espaço Memória dos Exílios

In a striking 1942 Modernist building, this museum focuses on Estoril's community of aristocratic exiles who fled here from Northern Europe during World War II, but its collection of memorabilia relates broadly to Portugal's mid-20th-century history. The exhibit consists mostly of black-and-white photos with captions in Portuguese, and there are also exhibits devoted to the Spanish Civil War, Second World War, and the Holocaust.
