Porto and the North Travel Guide

When To Go

It's best to visit the north in summer, when Porto and the Minho region are generally warm, but be prepared for drizzling rain at any time. Coastal temperatures are a few degrees cooler than in the south. Inland, and especially in the northeastern mountains, it can be very hot in summer and cold in winter.
