Fodor's Review

Seen by many as the city's top hotel, the Sheraton Porto's declared aim is to blend design and comfort. From the towering white lobby with its velvety black sofas to the darkly handsome guest rooms, it does so empathically. The breakfast buffet is amazing, and includes a separate section for dieters. At Sunday brunch there's even a clown on hand for the kids. The luxury spa is a big draw, with its unisex sauna and steambath, and a pool and winter garden bathed in natural

light. In the excellent restaurant, the glass-walled wine "cellar" organizes tastings accompanied by fine hams and cheeses for groups of up to eight.
