On the road to the Citânia de Briteiros, this charmingly rustic but professionally run restaurant is a good place to sample regional dishes. Among the best are assado misto de cabrito e vitela (roast kid and veal), rolinhos de pescada (whiting rolls, served with a seafood sauce), and bacalhau dishes such as à broa (with cornbread) and com natas (with cream)—all reasonably priced. Don't forget to try the range of finger-licking starters. The complex includes a small museum with an interesting display of agricultural implements.
