Livraria Lello e Irmão

Livraria Lello e Irmão Review

This is one of the most special and important bookshops in Portugal. It opened in 1906, and shelters more than 60,000 books. But it's most famous for its neo-Gothic design and two-story interior with intricate wood-carved details—locals maintain that all this helped inspire J.K. Rowling, who dreamed up Harry Potter while living in Porto.
