Fodor's Review:
Arriving at the entrance, you may assume the taxi -- or Jaguar limo that's available on request -- has dropped you at an office. Never assume. This boutique hotel is a showcase of style on the sixth to eighth floors of the Grandes Armazéns do Chiado shopping complex. From the public areas, you look through a three-story window at tile rooftops, the Sé, and the Castelo de São Jorge. Designer Pedro Espírito Santo has blended elements of 16th-century Portugal with those from former colonies, and guest rooms are a mix of antiques and 21st-century amenities.
