Fodor's Review:

Why choose northern Italian cuisine in Portugal? Because Cipriani's food is exceptional. So is its service, whether you're a solo traveler scanning a book or part of a designer-clad quartet celebrating a milestone. Waiters whip off domed silver lids in time to the music of a 12-string Portuguese guitar that approaches concert quality. You could start with cannelloni stuffed with ricotta and zucchini, or a shrimp-and-spinach-stuffed puff pastry with oyster sauce. Sautéed monkfish on a bed of ratatouille or citrus-glazed duck might follow. Wine prices range from modest to monumental.
