Fodor's Review:

The Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Assunção (Church of Our Lady of the Assumption), with its plain white facade, is the most graceful church in Cascais. Inside is an elegant golden altar, and there are fine paintings by 17th-century Portuguese artist Josefa de Óbidos—a rare instance of a female artist of that day gaining an international reputation.
