Praia das Maçãs is a popular place to go for seafood restaurants on the beach. One of the favorites is Neptuno, a glassed-in restaurant practically on the sand. Hanging on the walls are photos of boats, big catches, and the sea—one photo shows the sea coming right up to the restaurant. Try the peixe a bulhão pato (fish with garlic, olive oil, and coriander) and arroz de marisco (seafood rice).
