Fodor's Review:

Praia das Maçãs is a popular place to go for seafood restaurants on the beach. One of the favorites is Neptuno, a glassed-in restaurant practically on the sand. Hanging on the walls are photos of boats, big catches, and the sea -- one photo shows the sea coming right up to the restaurant. Try the peixe a bulhão pato (fish with garlic, olive oil, and coriander) and arroz de marisco (seafood rice).
