Fodor's Review:

On a quiet street overlooking the green hillside above Estoril, the Lido is a modest hotel whose amenities compensate for its lack of real style. The simple rooms all look the same—strong colors, clean lines, identical furniture—but they have balconies with fine views and there's a pool, a garden, and a lounge bar. Off-season discounts are substantial. The hotel is signposted for drivers from the casino; otherwise, it's a steep 15-minute walk from the center of Estoril.
