Although it's in the Amoreiras shopping complex, this restaurant makes you feel as if you're in Madeira: rural scenes adorn the walls; staffers wear traditional costumes; and the place is filled with wood, rattan, and plants. The service is good, and the cooking is assured. Try the tuna, the swordfish, or the espetada (a skewer of steak fillet, rubbed with salt and spices and hung above the table from a stand so you can serve yourself).

Keep in mind: Reservations essential.
