The views from this small, unpretentious hotel in the oldest part of town are fine, especially at night, when the nearby Castelo de São Jorge is softly illuminated. To make the most of the location, opt for one of the junior suites, which have terraces. The top-floor bar-breakfast room has a panoramic picture window (making breakfast a real pleasure), and the neighborhood is quiet. It's a steep walk every time you return here, but Tram 28 runs nearby.
