In a complex of buildings adjoining the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos is the large, inviting Maritime Museum. Here you get a real grasp of the importance of the seafaring tradition in Portugal through maps and maritime codes, navigational equipment, full-size and model ships, uniforms, and weapons.
