The most prominent Swiss chef in Warsaw is still running strong with his signature restaurant in the Rialto Hotel. The food is excellent: interesting reinterpretations of both Polish and international dishes. The menu is always changing, but the cutlet of deer loin roasted in a mushroom crust with blackberry sauce on soft potato pancakes is an excellent example of Kurt Scheller's inspired skill. Both the setting -- a beautiful art deco interior -- and the service are impeccable.
