Cherubino must have one of the most intriguing menus in Kraków, serving a combination of Tuscan cuisine and lighter, more contemporary interpretations of Polish cuisine. Next to Italian gnocchi, carpaccio, and cannelloni, the menu features local dishes such as pierogi, roast duck, and buckwheat soup.

A great meal spoiled by very poor service. Five of us ate at Cherubino on May 15. We had booked a table early (7.30) and the place was very quiet. It filled up later. The menus came quickly but that was the end of the prompt service. We had to call the waitress back to get some drinks, and the rest of the evening was spent trying to catch the eye of any one of the waitresses, who were doing everything but catching a customer's eye. The food was
uniformly excellent, but service like this does not encourage a return visit. Excellent value at PLN 110 per head including drinks and (small) tip.

The menu was very original and a great value. Reservations are a must. There is street construction in front of the restaurant which may make it difficult to access, but worth the effort.
