Podgorze

In 2010, a footbridge connected the districts of Kazimierz and Podgórze, making the latter much more accessible than before. Podgórze is blooming: over the last decade it received an addition of as many as three new museums, not to mention some lovely cafés and restaurants in which to rest in between cultural visits. The footbridge—K?adka Bernatka, which connects Mostowa street (in Kazimierz) with Józefi?ska street (in Podgórze)—is considered an attraction it itself; a romantic destination where couples leave their "love locks" and throw away the key.
