A tiny, eight-table restaurant near the Royal Palace, the Palace Grill is one of the most fashionable spots on the Oslo dining scene. Don't let the "grill" part fool you: it may be relaxed, but its French-inspired cuisine is certainly not fast food. The original Palace Grill doesn't take reservations and is usually full, so try to get here before 5 PM for a table. Alternatively, reserve a table at its new sister restaurant, the more spacious and slightly less expensive Palace Reserva.
