Palace Grill Review

Not truly a grill, this tiny, this off beat restaurant in Frogner, near the Royal Palace, is all about complex cuisine. It does just one seating a night, offers only a 10-course tasting menu with wine, and doesn't take reservations. It opens its doors at 3 pm to allow patrons to line up for one of the 23 seats. Come much later, and the chances of snagging a table are nil. Expect dinner to last for hours. Behind the restaurant, an outdoor venue called Skaugum hosts concerts with live bands in summer.
