Cochs Pensjonat Review

A stone's throw from the Royal Palace and near Bogstadveien (one of Oslo's premier shopping and socializing streets), this no-frills guesthouse has reasonably priced, comfortable, and rather spartan rooms. Most have private bathrooms; some also have kitchenettes. For NKr 69, the hotel can arrange for breakfast at a nearby cafe.

    Good Budget Lodgings

This is an upscale pension with many older guests seeking a bargain in very expensive Oslo. We stayed in the newer wing with ensuite bathroom and a small kitchenette. The rooms were small but very clean and well maintained. The bathroom is small and the shower smaller. There is an elevator but no a/c or in room phones (we did not have a cell phone that worked in Norway and it was a big problem for us as the payphone is very expensive).
