Fodor's Review:

Named for art collector Rolf E. Stenersen, this city-owned museum opened in 1994 displays highly regarded and sometimes provocative temporary exhibitions. It also houses three private art collections—including works by Edvard Munch—donated to the city at various times by Rolf E. Stenersen, Amaldus Nielsen, and Ludvig Ravensberg.

  • Cost: NKr 45
  • Open: Tues. and Thurs. 11-7; Wed., Fri., and weekends 11-5
